What "memory" means here
Memory is for the details that make a later conversation make sense: a preference you chose to keep, something you were preparing for, or the context behind a follow-up. It is not a claim that an AI is human, conscious, or perfect. EveStay tells you clearly that the companion is AI before a relationship begins.
You can view memories, edit them, delete one, or clear all. That matters because continuity without correction becomes unsettling fast. A remembered detail should remain something you can understand and control.
One relationship, not a character marketplace
EveStay asks you to choose one active relationship at a time. This is intentionally different from character catalogs like Character.AI or Candy.AI, which encourage browsing dozens of personas. EveStay is built around depth in one bond, not breadth across many.

Not EVA AI, not Eve app

Voice and photos are part of the conversation
A warm reply can arrive as text, a voice note, or a curated photo moment from the conversation packs. Free experiences use selected preset media; paid plans include higher media allowances. Realistic AI media is disclosed as AI-generated. EveStay does not promise live on-demand custom photo generation. The point is a more present conversation, not an unlimited or sexualized content promise.
Privacy and clear boundaries
Private conversations are not used for model training by default. You can learn more about the controls and questions worth asking in our guide to AI companion memory and privacy. EveStay is for adults 18+ and does not present an AI companion as a real person.
That clarity applies to payment, too. You can start with a limited free conversation and decide whether to continue. A paid plan provides ongoing access and different usage allowances, not a more loving personality. An AI relationship product should never use fear of losing affection as its upgrade mechanism.

It is not a substitute for human support, emergency help, or real-world relationships. If a conversation makes you feel unsafe or overwhelmed, step away and seek support from a trusted person or local professional.
The useful question is not "can an AI replace a person?" It cannot. The better question is whether a clearly disclosed AI conversation can add a small, healthy moment of reflection or company to a real life that already contains other people, responsibilities, and choices.
